She is my favourite Lost Girl. Julie Anne Haddock was the prettiest of the 8 girls, and The Little Chill shows it

Cindy and Sue Ann are tied for my favorite Lost Girls. Those two characters had so much potential, and I really wish they had done more with Cindy. By the end of the first season, it felt as though they were Nancying her, and after "Running", she never got her own story.

How cool would it have been to see gymnastics episodes at Eastland? Or to see Cindy on the mat in "Fear Strikes Back"?

Yeah, I like your ideas, Retro. If I was a producer at NBC, I would have kept Cindy or Sue Ann (but Cindy is my first choice) as the fourth girl.
With a little rework of the character, making her more self-confident, she could have been the perfect foil for Blair.

I can see Cindy being a good foil for Blair. I don't think she even needed to be more self-confident. Cindy had no problem threatening Willis and his friend with the confidence she already had. And Cindy had that willowy wistfulness that would have played well against Blair's sophisticated snobbery.

Sue Ann becomes more of Blair's foil starting in the 1980's episodes

That's true. But can you imagine Cindy being Blair's foil in Season Two or Three?

Episode 2-17: "Take My Finals, Nerd"

[The girls realize they're in serious trouble when they skip class and miss their final exams.]

BLAIR: I just had another one of my brilliant ideas. We'll get one of the nerds to take the test for us. Maybe Brenda. Then Miss Mahoney would have to pass us.

CINDY: Who could pass you?! You're built like a school bus!

That's very good Retro!!!

I agree that BLAIR needed a foil to tame her down a little: she already had MRS G taking care of that, but someone her own age (or close to it since CINDY is a year younger) would have been perfect!!!!

And yes: CINDY would have been a great one to challenge BLAIR!!! "You won't bully me anymore!!!!" (although she did apologize)
