Default Besides Welcome Back Kotter, was there another sitcom character who made reference to

another sitcom that aired on the same network during the same time? For example, Mr, Woodman on Welcome Back Kotter told Mr. Kotter to hurry up with his joke because he wants to watch Barney Miller. Both were ABC shows that aired at the same during the 1976-77 season. They may have aired on the same night

I remember on Home Improvement once, Brad and Randy mentioned they wanted to watch Full House (not sure of the exact episode, though).

I think there's a 6th season episode of Leave It To Beaver where Wally says something to Beaver about watching McHale's Navy on TV.

On an episode of Three's Company, Mr. Furley complains that he's missing The Brady Bunch.

On Golden Girls, Dorothy makes a reference to The Partridge Family, but I don't remember why.

On Roseanne, Dan and Roseanne mention and watch Barnaby Jones in the garage.

On What's Happening, Dee's first date, Luther mentions Little House on the Prairie when he makes fun of Dee's curfew. He says "They have the same rules on Little House on the Prairie."

And, there is an episode of Barney Miller, where a teacher was arrested and he mentioned the show, Welcome Back, Kotter. I "believe" this episode was from Barney Miller's 4th season (1977-1978).

Correction: I looked up the episode, and it is called: The Tunnel (season 4, episode 10 of Barney Miller; aired on December 1st, 1977)

on GREEN ACRES once Oliver & Lisa walked into someones house and the guy was watching TV. He turned it off, laughed and said "On, those Beverly Hillbillies!"

Another time the Ziffles came over to the Dougleses and Mr. Ziffle complained that he was missing Gomer Pyle. In the same episode; as they were leaving he said "Come on Arnold, maybe we can catch the end of Dick Van Dyke.
And in another episode Oliver was speaking to a group of farmers, He said "Gentlemen, why are we here?" Newt Kiley said "That's what we want to know; we're missing Gomer Pyle".

Once on an early episode of PETTICOAT JUNCTION (bear with me on this one; I saw the episode once; 20 years ago so I probably have some of the details wrong) some guy thought that the Bradley girls wanted to marry him.
He was telling Kate and said "If you think David Jannsen can run-watch this!" and took off.

In the "incredibly obscure" file, in the "Beaver" episode "The Parking Attendants" make reference to "I'm Dickens He's Fenster" a single season ABC sitcom that starred John Astin.

That's interesting, I'll have to check out the episode and watch for that.

In reference to Welcome Back Kotter, in the season two episode titled The Fight, early in the episode I believe Vinnie mentions Laverne & Shirley.
