Default Birds of Prey Series Finale Feb. 19th

From Birds of Prey Online:

Series Finale Movie Event
-- Friday January 24th, 2003

A special two-hour (seamless) “Birds of Prey” movie will air in the 8:00-10:00pm time period on Wednesday February 19th. The movie will consist of the final two episodes of the “Birds of Prey” series titled "Feat Of Clay" and "Devil's Eyes".

"Feat of Clay"
A metahuman with the ability to turn people into stone seeks revenge for his father by going after the Birds. Meanwhile, the truth about Helena is revealed to Harley, what will she do with this newfound knowledge? The first part of the feature-length Birds finally is sure to have you glued to your seats!

"Devil's Eyes"
When the people of New Gotham start to act out of character, the future looks bleak for the city which is being destroyed from the inside. Helena and Reese will grow much closer, Harley will show her true colors and death will strike before the hour ends. Tune in for the gripping "Birds of Prey" finale.

So Harley will be in the series finale and she & Helena will know about each other. This is great that The WB is airing the last 2 episodes, I can't wait to see them.

Good news/bad news, I suppose. It's good they are showing a finale and Harley will find out about Helena. Bad that it's all coming to an end.

Thanks for posting this, Chris. Btw, I love the new avator.

You're welcome Jenny & TV Junkie.

Thanks Jenny on the avatar comment. I figured since all the moderators put moderator above their avatar I would too.

Hope everyone gets to see the finale, it sounds really good!

Okay, it's getting close to the final episode, so BUMP. Eh, I change my mind. Let me make this a sticky and I can unstick the thread once it airs.

Look at this mini article at tvnow.com. It sounds like they think pulling the show is a mistake too.

"Birds of Prey" ... on The WB, 8:00pm - 10:00pm ET ... The final two episodes of this foxy series close a sad chapter on a book that deserved more attention from the network. Where will fans of Ashley Scott (pic), Dina Meyer and Rachel Skarsten go now for their Gotham fix? But before it all ends, viewers will learn the real truth about the Clocktower and witness many citizens of the community be turned into clay objects. ... click for more picks

Damn shame it had to end so early. I have this friend that has been taping BOP and he never got around to watching any of the eps. We were pretty divided on shows. He would watch the new Twilight Zone show and I would watch Birds of Prey. I did watch the first few eps of the new TZ show and I'm surprised BOP went before TZ. Jmo about the TZ show. I got a tv guide today and it lists TZ as uncertain of getting a next season. Can't believe that TZ out lasted BOP.

I can't believe The WB put BOP up against The Bachlorette and American Idol, it's like they actually hate this show I saw Harley in her costume we finally see some action in Gotham!

Ugh, not good that it's airing against both of those shows. I still hope we get some good ratings. It'd be such a slap in the face to the WB if it gets some major ratings.

I'm unsticking the thread.

How did everybody like the final eps? I caught the first hour and I enjoyed that ep. I had to flip the channel when the second hour started. I really wanted to catch the first part of the New Twilight Zone. I flipped it back to BOP after watching the first part of TZ. I did like the parts I saw of the second hour. I'll prob. rewatch it later on today and come and post about it.

I was sad during the second episode. It had a Christmas theme sort of because of the lights lol. I thought it was sad how Harley killed Wade and bragged about it to Barbara she was so ready to kill Harley. It was cool to see Barbara walk but I wish she was in costume as Batgirl.

Did you record it Jenny? I recorded it twice lol

Yeah, I recorded it. I'm happy that I got every ep on tape. I'll prob. watch the second hour after Buffy tonight.
