Hi,
I am looking for the very rare "unaired pilot" (titled "Ken-Tuck-E") from the classic 1964-70 TV series Daniel Boone starring the late Fess Parker. This is a slightly longer version of the pilot episode which has different series opening credits and an original 16 mm. B & W Fox film print has been in past advertised on PicClick.com when it was for sale on Ebay a few years ago. I used to have this unaired pilot episode on VHS in the mid-to-late 80's from a collector in TX named David Miller (of M & M Enterprises) who is sadly now deceased. I have been told since then by another source (tvcollector101 who has been mentioned on this forum) that the late Mr. Miller originally got that VHS recording from him. tvcollector101 also told me that he once had the actual film print of it but no longer has either it or the VHS tape of it. I also no longer have my copy. I've been searching for over 35 years now with no luck whatsoever. The unaired pilot episode of Daniel Boone is not included with the most recent official DVD releases of the complete TV series from either the respective Fox box set, the Liberation Entertainment release (out of print), or the last release from Timeless Media Group/ Shout Factory the "Collector's Edition". It has also not been posted on Youtube, only the standard 51 minute version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So far it hasn't been located. Thanks in advance. Black Sheep One

I cant help you but for future reference, You should make one single wanted thread instead of flooding the forum.
Best of luck in your searches. |

Your suggestion is noted. I did not realize I was "flooding the forum" with my searches. Most of my posts are not being replied to because people here appear to be interested in mostly more recent TV shows, not "old" shows especially 1-season rare series from that era. Hence the "O" replies. My guess most of you folks don't even know what I'm talking about anyway the series in question were so long ago. I've only gotten a few replies and for that I am grateful. I won't be making any more "wanted" requests in future. Thank you. My apologies for any inconvenience. Black Sheep One |

I do understand that you were offering constructive criticism in this matter, Videoranger007, but I also have to say in response while still being polite that you have no idea how disappointed I was to read your post. I thought someone was responding who had the Daniel Boone unaired pilot episode which is extremely rare and I have been searching for to replace over 3 nearly 4 decades now (not just years....) with absolutely no results whatsoever in general including this forum so far. But to read "I can't help you but for future reference, you should make one single wanted thread instead of flooding the forum" instead of that was the online equivalent to a slap in the face. Was I supposed to make one single wanted thread? Is that a rule of the forum? How did I know that I needed to do that as opposed to listing my specific wants separately? The point is, I did not know to start with. A few people who know about the older TV shows I am interested in and have what I'm looking for to trade are also interested therefore have responded, and in all fairness to them, I feel I haven't done anything wrong except make numerous requests that may seem inconvenient to someone else who obviously does not care to read them much less offer a positive and perhaps hopeful response. Just offering an opposing viewpoint, for whatever it's worth. How would you feel if someone else stated what you did to me a little while ago said it to you? Just put yourself in my place. You have feelings just like I do. But that's okay, I don't plan on posting any more on this forum in future, thanks to your "input". My posts get many views but rare replies if any. So this is just basically a complete waste of my valuable time and effort when I could be doing more important things besides being online. Now to quote Bruce Campbell's Brisco County Jr., "That's all I've got to say on the subject." Black Sheep One |

To Whom It May Concern....
As much as I'm interested in trading, from this point onward members please do not respond to my posts regarding specific TV series I am looking for or are "wanted" unless you do have the particular shows in question. That way we won't waste each other's time or effort. Negative responses or comments are not desired. Requests for your wants are on the other hand greatly appreciated as several positive people on this forum have made recently. Thank you. Black Sheep One |
