Default What prop would you love to have from the show?

You can pick a prop from each of the 4 eras of the show:
  • The Dorm (season 1)
  • The Cafeteria (seasons 2-4)
  • Edna's Edibles (seasons 5, 6)
  • Over Our Heads (seasons 7-9)

Choosing only ONE prop from whichever eras you'd like to have a prop from, what props would you pick?

Remember, these are props, not furniture or "set dressing"---something that was picked up/handled by the characters.

The Dorm: The big New Yorker poster.
The Cafeteria: The globe Nancy O. used to threaten Tootie with.

Welllllll, they could be?? I mean, they're wardrobe, but they are also an "item of use"---I guess the skates are "wuzzles"!

The globe and pizza box are definite good choices!

There would be SO much to think about, but off the top of my head...

The Dorm - I might actually have to pick Nancy's umbrella! 🌂

It was the most HILARIOUS moment of that season when I first saw it as a child.

The Cafeteria - Maybe Cindy's copy of The Eastlander busting Mr. Gideon 📰

EE and OOH, I have no idea yet.

If I can't have Cindy's fictional cheese dip, due to the technicality of it not actually existing, I'll take Natalie's sister's hand-me-down dress, Roger's vehicle, or Tiger's doghouse. ...No good, either? Okay then...

I'll take Sue Ann's silver-plated track trophy (which has HER name on it, not Mr. Bradley's, despite him saying it will be "his").

Wasn't it shown with a record player on the top? How was Nancy going to play her great Donna Summer records on an 8-track player?

Another cool item! You could display it proudly, with its giant headline:
TEACHER BUSTED IN COCAINE RAID!

Tootie’s sculpture of Jermaine Jackson’s head
Jo’s frumpy cotillion dress
Edna’s resignation on the back of a HoJo’s menu

(I know they’re all from the same era, but that’s the era I’m most familiar with.)

No, no! Natalie's sister's hand-me-down dress is good! Haven't you watched RH?? That's the dress that Cindy wears!

Hey, we're all in a "different normal" for the time being, so I won't get hung up on technicalities---too much. lol

It did have a record player, but Tootie and the girls were taking a poll whether they wanted a cassette or 8 track to go along with a turntable. It being an expensive German model, I say it had both. The girls can boogie the night away to Donna Summer, Andy Gibb, etc...I bet the girls also had those K-tel an Ronco compilation records of the latest hits.
