I was wondering about your ODAAT history. Did you at one time see them all, but now only remember general things? (I do this with lots of shows). Or did you just used to occasionally watch and don’t think you’ve seen every episode?

I’d watch it regularly when it originally aired and remember some key general things like:

Schneider was ANNOYING, Julie was a pain in the butt to her family, Francine was sneaky, Max was a good guy & likes to call Ann Shorty, Barbara the “good” daughter.
The only eps I seem to remember somewhat well was that two parter where Barbara’s friend threatens to kill herself (are those the eps you referenced?) and ep where Ann the cougar hits on that young guy.

I think you were probably like me ! I watched the very early seasons first run and also when it came on in reruns. They played it on weekday mornings , sometimes I'd watch in the summer or if I was out sick from school or my job at the time! I had never seen an ep. after Season 5 first run! When Julie left the first time I had thought she was gone for good and never really watched again (I was a Julie fan than) ! I think I did see a Season 6 I guess , and it seemed like a whole different show with the addition of that kid Alex , who I didn't (and still don't) like ! I remember Julie getting married , at the time I didn't crush on Max ! Although I did crush on Clete Meizenheimer from Mary Hartman , not realizing they were the same person!!!??? Anyway I started my big time crush on Michael Lembeck when Antenna started showing ODAAT!

But back to me watching this first run, last I saw was the addition of Alex and assuming Julie was gone for good, that was it for me ! I never knew of Mark ( Barbara's Husband) or Baby Annie ( Max and Julie's Daughter ) even till I watched on Antenna !

I guess his face does look Max towel colored there, but I think it’s just the photos. It probably looked more natural on TV.
