Default Facts of Life DVD sales figures.

I've heard that the combo Season 1 and 2 DVD was the best seller of all the individual seasons DVD sales.

I haven't heard, but that wouldn't surprise me at all. After all it was the first DVD release, it had the "fab five" on the front cover, it had two seasons on it, and it bridged 2 "eras" of the show.

True. I’m sure the few lost girl fans went nuts for it too

Well, I remember they did a lot of promotion and marketing for this box set. All the girls appeared on The Today Show and the TV Land Awards to promote it. So it really doesn't surprise me.

I'm a little upset the original box set didn't have the Lost Girls on the front cover. You'd think they'd want to tout that Molly Ringwald was in the first season, since she became a big movie star (although I'm not sure how Ringwald would feel about this).

Anyways, I'm still holding out for The Reunion Movie to get a DVD releases, darn it!

That was the first FOL set i got too: the Combo 1 & 2 DVD (right after DS season 1) and because it was the first time i had ever heard of it, when i watched the season 2 and noticed the 'Lost girls' were not anymore on the show, i was confused and was like "what the heck and where are they????"

Yeah, the Season 1/2 combo Molly Ringwald Special Edition was only released in very limited numbers.

Here it is a bit re-sized too---I forgot about this special limited edition!

(and fascinating to think this is "allegedly" the original season 2 cast!)

Well, a few DVDs did surface with the Lost Girls on the cover. They've become HUGE collector's items!

I remember their morning show interview promoting it. It was Lisa, Nancy, and Mindy. I was surprise Nancy actually participated in the interview when there were so many rumors that she hated being associated with the show.

Regardless how popular Molly was, fans remember the Jo seasons being the show. I don't think the set would have sold well if they put the lost girls on the cover. There's not a lot of season 1 fans.

Even though I don't care for the reunion movie, I would buy it. I like having complete collections of my shows in the best quality possible.
