Help! Question about Dennis Franz and Charlotte Ross... I'm confused.... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I loved Charlotte Ross when she was on NYPD Blue as Sipowitz's wife, but what I'm trying to figure out is why they got married. And I remember she was pregnant, but I don't remember them really having a love affair. I didn't really start watching regularly until probably the 11th or 12th (final) season.

Can someone explain to me the storyline between Charlotte Ross (I forget her character name) and Dennis Franz? I really liked them together, despite that it was a rather unusual pairing.

I've always loved Charlotte and was really glad to see her on NYPD Blue. She was wonderful. I used to watch her regularly when she was Eve Donovan on "Days of Our Lives"

They started dating at the end of season 9. They moved in together in season 10, and in season 11 they tied the knot due to Connie (Charlotte's character) being pregnant. Connie soon left the job to be a stay at home mom (as well as Charlotte leaving the series due to her real life pregnancy).

Thank you so much! I really wish the later seasons were on DVD because I loved the pairing of these two! Not really the "ideal" couple, but they were good together!

I have since seen the episodes leading up to how they got together and I really liked them as a couple. I'm glad they stayed together through the end of the show (well, it's implied anyway)
