Default A few questions about Season 5?

1) How come Lionel was never seen?

2) Why did Jenny disappear after the first episode?

There wasn't a Lionel in season 5. Damon Evans left the show after the 4th season and Jenny had a reduced role because it was no Lionel until season 6 when Mike Evans returned to the show. That's why the character Marcus and Alan Willis was added to make up for the loss of Lionel in season 5

The second Alan was just too weak of a character. Why couldn't they have gotten the original?

Because without a Lionel character there was no need for a Jenny

To learn why the first Lionel was released in Season 4 and how Mike Evans returned in Season 6, see p.242 and pp. 294-95 of new book on The Jeffersons titled HONKY IN THE HOUSE - Writing & Producing The Jeffersons by Writer/Exec Producer Jay Moriarty.

Alan should've come back before the series ended. They also should've brought back Archie Bunker for just ONE episode! Biggest mistake of the series!

Imagine Archie's confrontation with Florence!
