Default Found it very Odd that the other Three Jeffersons Stars guest starred on 227 but not

Isabel Sanford-lol Franklin Cover, Sherman Hemsley, and Roxie Roker all made a guest appearance but not Isabel Sanford. Seems kind of ODD. Especially since the Guy who played Ralph the Door Man on the Jeffersons even made a guest appearance on 227-lol

Maybe they didn't get along in real life OR Isabel had other things to do.

She was probably Jealous, I would hope not because she was defintely too old for that in the 80's.

Just because she never appeared doesn't mean there was any conflict between Isabel and Marla. Maybe she had a timing conflict, or maybe she was simply never asked, we don't know unless we can find out anything concrete.

Sherman appeared on 227 but Marla didn't appear on Amen. We all know Marla was the showrunner for 227 and working as an uncredited executive producer. Sherman worked as the executive consultant for Amen who helped cast and develop storylines so his workload was lighter compared to Marla's.

Isabel was supposed to have her own show that was supposed to air in January 1987 as a daily syndicated comedy with a 100 episode deal. But after the pilot week, many were ready for more episodes but the production company ended up folding and no network was interested in airing it on their lineup. I take it as Isabel was probably a little miffed that her show flopped by no fault of her own or she simply didn't want to do any roles with Jeffersons cast members to avoid further typecasting or she simply wasn't interested. However, she and Sherman continued to do cameos as George and Weezy up to the end of her life in 2004 in commercials, guest spots, and appearances.

I know and she could have appeared since sherman wasn't his Amen character on 227

Isabel could have and she's versitile to play many roles. I could have saw her as maybe the councilwoman of the area where The Jenkins lived and Mary was taking the city to town on something in the neighborhood.

I recall seeing Isabel's Honeymoon Hotel; I think I even recorded an episode or so back in the day. Not sure how many episodes aired, though.

Never really thought about her not appearing on 227; maybe there was just no interest on her part; for that show or Amen. As mentioned, she and Sherman revisited George and "Weezy" on several occasions, post-Jeffersons.
