Default Looking for Uncut Beverly Hillbillies episodes from seasons 6-9

Since it looks like Paramount is dragging their feet with releasing the rest of the series to DVD, I was wondering if anyone had uncut episodes from the unreleased seasons.

I am specifically looking for uncut episodes because I already own those seasons in their edited formats from various networks in syndication.

I've got some web captures of the seasons you're looking for. I'm not sure if they're uncut though.

I've got tvrips of Seasons 6-9 if interested.

Not sure you'll find uncut series until they become officially released.

This one would be more difficult than what I'm looking for (My Three Sons S11 and 12, unedited). Here's an easier-said-than-done idea: find a trader who has (for example) TV Land versions and get the MeTV versions (much easier, obviously), compare scenes, and edit missing scenes from each version to make more-complete episodes. I used an old still-functioning DVD recorder for this kind of thing, with a little success, with My Three Sons S11 and 12 versions from TV Land, Odyssey/Hallmark, and MeTV.

That sounds like a lot of work but if edited properly it would be worth it. Recently Charles Abel Lear (classictvchazz) restored every episode of The Hogan Family to their original broadcast lengths or as closely as possible. This was made possible by bringing together broadcasts of the show from sources and slowing down the speed of the Antenna TV broadcasts. The show runs unedited for the most part but Antenna TV speeds them up.

It IS a lot of work. I can remember timing scenes, and eventually figuring out that MeTV speeds some (but not all) episodes. Some things are easy, like whole missing scenes. Others are harder, when they cut a few sentences of dialog here or there.

The frustrating thing is when you can't fix an episode that's a chopped up mess on all sources. Then you find an old Nick at Nite copy, where they had it close to full-length in the 1980s. My theory is that it was all within the Viacom family, and they got somebody to do some digging.

Other than My Three Sons, I had some success with this process with season 1 of Father Knows Best, using the syndicated copy from the DVD set and the edited complete copy from TV Land.

With The Hogan Family everything came out looking smooth. The remastered episodes were flawless with runtimes over 23 to 24 minutes in total. It does help that the episodes were not completely butchered by Antenna TV as well. If all of those sources were completely butchered it would have been a nightmare to restore those episodes.

I recently restored a few episodes of Diff'rent Strokes edited on the DVD releases. There was also one or two episodes that originally aired as an hour that was split up into two parts. I put both of those episodes back together and they now run at 49 minutes.

Yes, you probably remember I "fixed" the edited episodes of Mama's Family as best I could.

I also did some work on Diff'rent Strokes, but that was before Starz Encore showed them unedited. I remember fixing the first part of one episode--it was a school yard scene--maybe it was the Bicycle Man. I also recall working on several scenes of the bulimia episode.

Staez Encore had some work done on DS--they must have complained about "bouncing" end credit crawl and had that remastered. That's a problem that the Honeymooners now has, due to bad mastering.
