Will Sheldon's Dad Survive After Season Five?

On The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon said that his Dad died when he was 14.

When Young Sheldon began, it was established that Sheldon was 9 years old.

If the show makes it to a sixth season, will Sheldon's Dad be killed off.

Now technically, Sheldon would be 14 at the beginning of season six, so George could live for a while.

Now I realize that they've softened the characters by comparison to the things Sheldon said about them on BBT, but still...

What do you guys think?

True, but the passing of Sheldon's Dad had a major impact on him as an adult.

Of course, this being TV, they could fudge the timeline. And the show isn't nearly as dark as they way Sheldon painted his memories on BBT.

In the season 7 episode, "The Thanksgiving Decoupling," Sheldon told Bernadette father that his father died when he was 14.
