CBS On Why "CSI: Miami" was Axed
CBS On Why "CSI: Miami" was Axed
May 16, 2012 by Joyce Eng CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler and CBS head of scheduling Kelly Kahl did a press event Wednesday about the network's fall schedule. CBS canceled "CSI: Miami" Sunday after 10 seasons, choosing to renew fellow spin-off and bubble show "CSI: NY" instead. "We really liked 'The Mentalist' at 10 [on Sundays] and unfortunately that just meant 'Miami' was the odd man out." Added Nina Tassler: "It was a very tough choice. It was almost a jump ball. It was just about servicing the schedule. 'Miami's' and 'NY's' costs were very close. ... It was a matter of looking at the schedule and what worked the best." http://www.tvguide.com/News/CBS-Thur...n-1047570.aspx |

I didn't like CSI Miami at all. I tried watching it a couple times, but couldn't warm up to Caruso at all. I did love CSI NY though because Gary Sinisi is one of my favorite actors of all times.

10 seasons is long enough for this sitcom, come on, people.
