Now, you can have a complete day--Doris Day, that is! The Complete Series of The Doris Day Show presents all five seasons of the CBS sitcom from the late 60s and early 70s in a 20 disc collection.

The Doris Day Show starred Doris Day as a widow that lived on a farm with her two young sons and her father. Of course, that was only the plot of the first season. In the second season, she found a job as a secretary for a newspaper in San Francisco, but continued to live on the farm. In the third season, she finally moved to San Francisco with her sons, but somehow they disappeared (in the same way family members disappeared on Happy Days, Family Matters, Step by Step, and others) when she somehow became a reporter in the fourth season. But before you get too confused, don’t worry--everything stayed pretty much the same as the series transitioned into the fifth season! In The Complete Series, you get to see how the series changed radically from the first season all the up to that fifth season, though you will still find abrupt transitions!

Somehow things seemed to pick up when Doris got to San Fran
She was the girl about town... so attractive... her stylish, fashionable clothes

although sometimes I thought... is she wearing a wig ?

could have been tempting to do so... speed things up in makeup etc !
