Max and Me

I had the experience of a lifetime in October of last year. A good friend of mine is an agent to quite a few celebrities. He arranges personal appearances for them and two of his celebs are Hal Linden and Max Gail! They did a convention near me last October and of course I went, but even better my friend asked me to be Max’s assistant for the weekend! Max and I have been friends on Facebook forever but this was the first time we got to actually meet and spend time together and we completely hit it off! Max called us kindred spirits. He is the kindest, sweetest person I have ever met! The weekend was full of laughter, hugs and fun. I got to hang out with Hal and Abe Vigoda’s beautiful daughter Carol and we all went out for dinner together. Hal’s wonderful! Very funny and amazingly spry and energetic for a man who will be 89 in a couple months. Carol’s awesome too. It was the most amazing weekend! Got to hear a lot of funny Barney Miller stories and behind the scenes stuff. Max and I talk all the time now, we have each other’s phone numbers and everything. I feel so blessed to be his friend! If you get a chance to meet him and or Hal don’t pass it up!!
