I have a few of the books on UM cases but am looking for more. Anyone know of any? I have the ones on Amy Billig, Rizzo, and Arquette, and the one on Jesse Hollywood.

A follow-up book by the same authors called Wanted for Murder has even more cases including Leo Koury, Donald Eugene Webb, David Gordon Smith, Rick Church, and Greg Webb. |

Has anyone here read A Wilderness of Error: The Trials of Jeffrey MacDonald by Errol Morris? Morris is a fairly reputable documentarian, and posits a completely different picture than MacDonald's detractors.

Fatal Justice is a very interesting read regardless of what side of the MacDonald case you stand on. |

If you can find a copy of "The Deaths of Cindy James" by Neal Hall, it is an awesome read. Really interesting story and you get so much more on this case than UM ever went into. It is far more complex than casual fans of UM realize. The problem is that the book is out of print and becoming more rare, so the price has gone way up.

On one of the threads here this week, someone recommended An Hour to Kill about the murder of Crystal Faye Todd. I found and ordered it from eBay that same day. It came today. Good read so far.

And it's a terrible, extremely biased work of fiction. Many of the book has been debunked countless times, and Morris is incredulous to the theory that Helena Stoeckley was just a drug user who was used for years by the pro-MacDonald folks. |

I love The Thin Blue Line and The Fog of War, but Morris flat-out got it wrong on this one. Not that I can't understand it. Jeff MacDonald historically is a charming, masterful manipulator. I don't think anyone should feel bad for being suckered by him, but it's foolish to hang on to his cause in the face of blatant evidence that he committed those murders. |

If you’re into the supernatural, There’s “The Black Hope Horror: The True Story of a Haunting” by Ben Williams. I remember reading this book in middle school, I think before the segment aired on UM.

I would love to know the opinions of people who have read Sleeping with the Devil by Suzanne Finstad. And I know I've had a discussion with some posters on it, but No Sanctuary by Michele Samit as well.
