Antenna TV is Having a "NewsRadio" Marathon on New Year's Day!!!!

Antenna TV is having a NewsRadio marathon on New Year's Day. It's all day, starting at 5am. I know the Sitcoms Online blog has already mentioned this, but I wanted to include it on the NewsRadio page, just in case anyone didn't see it there.

I'm looking forward to this marathon! I've seen very little of this show, but from what I've seen I've very much enjoyed. I have the Sony releases of Seasons 1 & 2 and while they're still at good prices, I want to get 3, 4, & 5 so I can watch them in spite of Antenna badly scheduling NewsRadio at 12:30am.

I got through several of these. Funny as always, but that five-minute break Antenna puts at the beginning of shows is rough.

I've had it on the TV since I woke up around 8:30. I agree about the long commercial breaks but I'm also bugged by the episode edits. I understand that shows have cuts when they air on TV and most of them seem fine, but there was one particular joke that was removed that got to me. It's from the episode where Lisa was asking for a raise. She finally tells Dave that her ex-boyfriend, Stuart, had written a song and needed money. Dave had her sing a little bit of the song called "Come Back, Lisa." The part that was cut was at the end of the scene as Lisa walks away. Dave says "Come back, Lisa." Lisa returns and Dave says "Oh sorry, I was just singing. It's catchy!"

Also, it seems my two favorite episodes are not a part of the marathon. They are "The Public Domain" (where Bill plays the piano and punches Dave's "assistant" Steve in the face) and "Big Brother", where a mix-up has Matthew serving as the little brother in the Big Brother program.
