When I was a kid in the 1970s, I didn’t like them because they interrupted “Bozo” or some cartoon show.

I remember watching them and I rememeber the theme song, but I can't remember anything else about them. All I can do is vaguely recall having watched an episode about teen pregnancy back in the 1980s. But nothing about the series left a lasting impression on my mind.

When they first started there was a good variety of stories, but in later years the format became more or less mini-made-for-TV-movies dealing with about the same subjects as their prime time counterparts.

I used to watch them, some were good, some not so much. I remember the one about rock music with Carole King and one where this family went to visit their relatives and the mom decided to be a maid in a big mansion.

Don't know what reality you lived in but if they did interrupt anything it probably would have been soap operas or games shows.

Anyway I remember watching an episode at school concerning racism where a black family moves into apartment above a store and someone burns down the building.

Can't remember much other than then the teen tries to be friends with a white kid and the incident almost causes their friendship to end.

This was about 1980 or 81.

KATV broadcast “Bozo” in the 1970s. Also “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Gilligan’s Island”.
