For Thanksgiving dinner I ate mashed potatoes, stuffing, canned yams with marshmallows, cornbread, rolls, cranberry sauce, corn on the cob, vegetarian roast, with gravy, butter, and salt and pepper on some of these foods. Delicious. Gonna have pie, cake, and ice cream soon.

Some of that looks good. Never really cared for sweet potatos/yams.

can't stand 'em - every single year my mom would go to ridiculous lengths to try and make them palatable, with brown sugar, marshmallows, who knows what - and every single year none of my siblings would ever eat any of them.

I had a rough day - I was making roasted brussell sprouts, roasted asparagus and green bean casserole, and after doing most of the prep work first then putting the sprouts in the oven, after five minutes the element in the oven burnt right through so no heat at all. Not the sot of thing you can go get on thanksgiving day, so it completely screwed me over - had to go to the neighbors to borrow his oven.
