Default How come Direct TV doesn't offer any more channels?

When it has come down to it I always have considered Direct TV the best value for TV but when you look at the general picture I noticed that Direct TV should add more channels to their lineup. Like I can never understand why they have FETV in classic TV channels and Logo but i'm surprised that Direct TV doesn't carry METV or Antenna TV because they are popular channels and Direct TV should carry them. Another thing I've noticed about Direct TV is that half the channels are mostly informercials and Direct TV should replace them with METV Antenna TV and Laff TV. Another thing that I have noticed is that Direct TV has about a dozen channels of nothing but music and they should replace them by having Jewelry TV move to their spot and move the informercial channels there. I can never figure out why GSN is on Direct TV but not Buzzr and Direct TV should add Buzzr because it's also popular along with Heroes And Icons. Is it because Direct TV thinks that these channels are expensive to add to their lineups? Two other channels that Direct TV should add are MyNetwork TV and The CW because along with ABC NBC CBS and FOX MyNetwork TV and The CW are also local channels. If I ran Direct TV I would add more channels like Light TV Justice Network Heroes And Icons and Cozi TV to make people watch it even more. Direct TV needs to improve it's channel lineup to include watchable channels to attract it's customers
Do you agree?

I thought that Dish Network should add Antenna TV, Decades and TV One for a long time. But after reading your post, I guess it's better than Direct TV. At least Dish has METV, Laff, Logo, FETV, Buzzr and GET TV.

Hi, Bestie! I voted for METV. I always wondered why they they don't let you just pick the channels you want so you don't have all the lame channels wasting space on your tv. With as much as they charge you for the service you think they would.

Another thing I can't figure out is why Direct TV doesn't offer enough kids channels. Because I noticed that the only kids channels they offer are Cartoon Network Disney Channel Disney Junior Discovery Family Channel Freeform Nickelodeon TeenNick but the other channels like Boomerang Sprout and Nicktoons Channel are on a separate package and what I think Direct TV should do is have a free channel full of nothing but kid-friendly cartoons and movies and move the kids channels to the regular package of Direct TV to save money. Second why don't they make WGN America free as part of the regular Direct TV package? Because I find it odd that you can only see WGN America during free previews and they should offer it in the regular package for all members. Also Direct TV should offer channels like Bounce and Get TV and Odyssey Channel and do away with Dog TV which I can't figure out why it exists and put The Cowboy Channel in it's place

DirectTV does have MeTV. At least mine does. Plus it has sitcoms on LOGO, Pop, and TV Land!

DirectTV has hundreds of channels and for me that's enough. We don't even watch 90%+ of those channels to begin with!

MeTV is a Broadcast channel and not a Cable channel

same with AntennaTV and CozITV

Only way that Metv is on Directv is if the Local station has metv on it .1 main channel

but if it is on .2 or higher then it is not on directv

same with other digital reruns broadcast networks like antennaTV and coziTV

It took metv years to work out a deal to have it main feed on DISH network

but when MeTV is on a Local channel .1 then The national feed is Black out or not offer in those areas
