Eek Yellow Pumpkins !!!!!

Has anyone else seen a yellow pumpkin? I just saw them for the first time in my life! ! They are adorable! I only have seen them at one grocery store so far, I was on foot so I couldn't buy one, they didn't have small ones ! Can't wait to go back with the car and buy some of these lovely yellow pumpkins!

I found out they are from the Mellow Yellow pumpkin seed !

I haven't seen any yellow pumpkins, but around here we have "White Pumpkins!"
I decide to GOOGLE white pumpkins.
It seems there is actually a real name for these "white pumpkins."
They are called "GHOSTS" or "CASPER" and little white pumpkins are called " BABY BOO."

And I also learned that pumpkins come in other colors --- I never knew, how about you?

Pumpkins are orange.......... everybody knows that.
But they come in lots of other colors too.
You can find pumpkins that are green, yellow, red, white, blue, even tan.
So, pumpkin lovers like you and me have lots of variety to choose from. What's your favorite pumpkin colors?

We had those white pumpkins out here for oh about 15 years or so? I remember when they first came out , they were advertising them as a phenomenon, a ghostly thing , hence the name "Ghost pumpkins"!

Than a few years ago was when I first saw the crazy looking pumpkins with all these weird growths or warts all over them! I even made a thread about them (I was trying to look for it yesterday, but it is way buried in the chit chat threads) , now these very strange pumpkins are mainstream here, been seeing them at all the markets since than! They are called "Knucklehead pumpkins"!

But it is the first season I'm seeing these yellow ones, they are such a pretty, peaceful lemon yellow color !!! Hence the name "Mellow yellow" !

If you were a Pumpkin, your lady Pumpkin wife or girlfriend would be lucky!! They could save money being their natural orange color and not have to worry about going to the beauty parlor to be dyed blonde or white!!!

I don't think I'd want to be a pumpkin but if I was I'd probably want my lady pumpkin to be yellow because I usually prefer blondes.

If I were a lady pumpkin, I'd want to be either yellow or orange ! Blue is pretty, but I 'd look too punk rock, and white I'd look too old!!

For my man pumpkin, I'd probably prefer orange, and he could turn white with old age, I wouldn't mind!!!

If I were a pumpkin, I'd want to be the traditional orange color. Blue is a cool color but I don't think it's a good color for a pumpkin.

We have some pumpkin patches here where you can go pick them, most are orange but you do see a few yellow and white ones. Never saw a blue one though. They also have all these weird gourds in different shapes & colors that you can buy. I love looking at all they have to offer plus it supports the local farmers.
