METV is sure running commercials announcing The Flintstones METV debut and I think METV is hoping and praying that this is a welcome addition to their lineup judging how much promotion they've put into announcing The Flintstones METV debut and there was even a cute banner with Dino mentioning it's METV debut. By the way it appears that The Flintstones will replace though
"I'm not entirely sure yet" The Jeffersons but METV does not list if a second episode will follow when it makes it's September 30th METV debut

One more week till The Flintstones makes it's METV debut next Monday and I can guarantee you that the ratings for METV will go sky high due to the debut of The Flintstones because it will be so cool to see a cartoon that's so great to watch. And now for an METV inspired twist on The Flintstones theme,
"Flintstones meet The Flintstones"
"They're the modern stone-age family"
"From the town of Bedrock they are coming soon to METV"
"Let's turn on the TV set Monday"
"So we can see a cartoon hit"
When you're with The Flintstones every Monday is a fun day a very fun day"
"To go watch METV"
What a cool way to honor The Flintstones METV debut is it?

Hi, Bestie! What a good twist! I wish METV would use it! As for me, I can't wait to see one of my foavorite cartoons of all time on one of my favorite networks!

I don't mind the Flintstones but it's kind of weird for them to be showing a cartoon. I'm sure it will bring in ratings though.

When The Flintstones makes it's METV debut today is it gonna be shown on METV every day or is it just Mondays only? Also is it gonna be double episodes back to back as well? I'm just curious to know because I know MASH comes on after The Jeffersons so is The Flintstones replacing MASH on METV too?

The Flintstones will be on everyday with double episodes back to back. MASH will not be replaced.

After much waiting for so long the much anticipated debut of The Flintstones happened today and Mom and I were so happy to see The Flintstones and I can see that this cartoon is a perfect fit that fits METV like a glove. I was shocked that METV was gonna start with the color episodes of The Flintstones rather than the black and white version but after seeing these episodes it's great that The Flintstones has a new home on METV so that new cartoon fans can see a classic cartoon. Maybe based on how successful The Flintstones will be METV will also think about adding Scooby-Doo or Yogi Bear next wouldn't that be amazing as well?

P.S. METV will also air a 4-hour morning marathon of The Flintstones every Sunday too
