^^^ I get why Balki said the good that he put out there about Larry, he was trying to help build Larry's confidence, but to me, maybe if Larry did more good for others compared to more good for himself, he could build his needed self confidence all on his own instead of Balki always having to do that for him.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I can still hear Balki say to Miss Lydia during the Piano Moves episode, "I always do all of the work."

One that will always be remembered by me is when Balki and Jennifer were getting the typewriter with feather touch control. Larry suspected the worst thing he could of his best friend and his girlfriend were seeing each other behind his back. When Balki asked Larry if he was the first best friend he ever had repeatedly, it made me think how much Larry and I had in common. To never be able to trust someone, let them get close to you because of how much others have hurt you in the past. To always be cautious/paranoid. I was surprised after not being able to watch the show from around age 15 to rewatch it at 27 showed me how so much of the show influenced who I am today, qualities of both personalities.

The bye bye Biki episode always gets me balling when I think of what Larry tells Balki that it wasn't fair to Balki not to grieve for her and to do on with life as nothing happened because people need to mourn when they lose a loved one.

^^^ I'm glad that you mentioned that episode because while Larry was right in a way that people do need to find a way to mourn when losing someone that means enough to them, I want to leap into that scene and say to Larry, "Maybe what Balki has been doing all of this time is his way to mourn because when you really think about it, there are worse things that could be done instead!"

I love the hug that Balki gives Larry when saying to Larry, "I forgive you."

God bless you always!!!

Bye Bye Biki. When Balki talks to the chair he had set out for her. He says he can’t honor her wish not to mourn because “You never lost you”. It choked me up and tv normally doesn’t do that for me.

I know that the season six episode named Speak, Memory was meant to be something that makes us laugh, but many people eventually lose such a luxury when a person that they care about ends up with Alzheimer's Disease and so that episode unfortunately can count as a sad episode too. I feel for Balki when he cries after hearing Larry asks, "Who are you and why are you calling me 'sugar'?"

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. May God rest the soul of my aunt Clara who went forward on May 2, 2013.

To me, another episode that can be labeled a sad one is the season seven episode named Dimitri's World because at the end of the episode, we find out why the lamb means so much to Balki.

God bless you always!!!

Funny you mentioned that, I posted that exact moment in today's thread for saddest moment with Balki or favorite moment with Balki thread.

That was the saddest scene of the show for me, especially the very end when they do a close-up on the chair.

To me, another sad moment is the end of the season seven episode named Or Get Off The Pot when Mary Anne makes it clear that she still hasn't gotten enough from Balki even after hearing him say to her, "If you want me to marry you, I will."

God bless you always!!!

The last episode in my opinion is a sad episode, not just because of it being the final one, but because of what takes place at the end. Due to the help that Balki was in desperate need of, Larry is left with no other choice but to leave Jennifer in the balloon basket and so because he isn't able to get back to her, its just her and the Lord who are there to bring little Tucker into the world, but at the end of the day, she and the Lord is all that was needed because a happy ending is what takes place.

God bless you always!!!

I was watching the season three episode again today named Bye Bye, Biki. Yeah, there are most definitely worse things out there that Balki could've done in response to the passing of his family member. (considering what's going on now in the news these days)

God bless you and the Floyd family always!!!
