There are lots of "Facts" episodes where we can make different plots from the episode titles. For instance:
- - - "Rough Housing" ------------------ Mrs. Garrett arrives at Eastland School for Girls to help build a new dorm. But with Tootie gossiping, Natalie joking, Molly singing, Cindy flipping, Nancy phoning, Sue Ann whittling, Blair mirroring, and Chestnut chewing on the tools, it's a "rough" job building this new "housing"! "Molly's Holly Day"* --------------------- Molly decides Arbor Day is too general. She thinks every tree should get its own holiday! One night she takes over the track field by transplanting hundreds of holly trees and planting them there. For Holly Day she makes wreaths of holly for her friends to wear as vegetative crowns on their heads, and she composes 50 new folk songs all about holly that she croons and warbles to her friends and Mrs. Garrett on her out-of-tune guitar. Oh, what a jolly Holly Day! *(taking liberty with poetic license on almost the same title) The Sound of Silence ----------------------- 24 minutes of the empty Eastland cafeteria. - - - |

Haha! Those are great, '80s!
"Best Sister" --------------- When Jo's dad and Blair's mom get married, Blair and Jo realize they're now suddenly siblings. Can these girls put aside their differences long enough to become sisters? "Growing Pains" --------------------- A crossover episode occurs when the Seaver family of Long Island visits, in anticipation of Carol (Tracey Gold) attending Eastland. "The Four Musketeers" -------------------------- Four old friends visit the girls on the night Mrs. Garrett announces their probationary period has ended. Molly Ringwald, Felice Schachter, Julie Piekarski, and Julie Anne Haddock guest star. |

![]() Oh, and the most poignant part of "Molly's Holly Day"? After the holly trees decide they're unhappy in the track field, and they uproot themselves and go back to the woods outside of town. "Hollieeeees can't be trusteeeeeed, My heart feels like it's busteeeeeed, Boy, am I disgusteeeeeed, I got a right to sing the bluuuuuuues" ![]()

"The Return of Mr. Garrett"
--------------------------------- It's a snowy, blustery day at the snowed-in Eastland School for Girls, and the electricity and heat are both on the fritz. Everyone camps out downstairs surrounded by candles for a glowing snowstorm-watching slumber party by the fireplace. After bringing in hot cocoa for all her girls, Mrs. Garrett in her robe takes a seat in the plush chair by the fire and regales her girls with the grand tale of the time her ex-husband purchased a shirt he decided he didn't like----so he returned it.

"Overachieving"
------------------- Spurred on by Blair's barbs at how people from Kansas City must not amount to much, Sue Ann gets fired up to prove she can be the best of the best. She cuts all ties to social activities at Eastland and focuses entirely on her academics, drowning herself in studying and tests and grades. Her friends in the dorm and Mrs. Garrett and Miss Mahoney all worry about her, while Mr. Bradley thinks she's setting a good example for the reputation of Eastland and its academics. It's up to Garrett, Mahoney, and the girls snap Sue Ann out of it and remind her that a balanced life at school is the best life at school. |

Cindy: "Blair, I'm surprised you even know what 'bush hogging' is."
Blair: "Only because of Miss Boonies living here, Cindy." |
