Almost finished fourth degree, but so tired...

I have three degrees, including one from Purdue. I've been working for the past year on a fourth one, a M.Ed, and.... I'm exhausted. Sooooo tired of writing papers and reading books.

I always say I'll never get another degree again, but this time, I mean it.

I think education is for life, but not necessarily sitting in front of a desk listening to a lecturer. Sometimes our quest for perfection has detrimental effects on other areas of our life. In my country there are too many young people entering university when apprenticeships might be a better option for some, avoiding the now extortionate fees which have crept into the system.

I totally agree. I've taken trips to other countries, gone on tours, done area workshops, etc., as schooling is just one form of education.

We've got the same thing going on here. Students have debts they will never be able to pay off.
