Me And My RC "Stock Car" 1970's TV Commercial

This is a favorite old commercial of mine, and if I recall, it had a regular run on TV from late 1974 through early 1975. The commercial has the aura of a balmy summer evening, but when it was filmed during two nights in Gardena California, the temperature was actually a very chilly 35 degrees!

Here's the commercial, who else here remembers this one? I don't know who the singer is but he sounds like Glen Campbell.

Cool, glad you enjoyed it. Ronnie Milsap is also a possibility. I've tried to do research but haven't found information revealing who the singer is.

I might be a little off with the timing when this commercial originally ran, I don't recall for sure if it aired in 1974 but definitely remember it aired in 1975, so the timing might be more like Spring and Summer 1975 instead of late 1974 and early 1975.

Enjoyed the old RC commercial even though I never cared that much for the drink. I was always a Coke and Pepsi drinker.
