Over on the blog, Pavan posted a list of all the marathons that will be airing on TV, and I thought that it would be worth sharing here.

I caught the Fresh Prince marathon on VH1 and now watching the Office marathon on Comedy central

I’ve been enjoying the 24 hour “All in the Family” marathon on getTV.

I have noticed a lack of 4th Of July marathons on TV and I don't know why the TV networks don't have good 4th Of July marathons or even some America themed programming every year for 4th Of July because after all it's America's birthday. Take for instance all METV had was their regular lineup and they should've had a marathon of Gomer Pyle USMC and any other military themed sitcoms and all Heroes And Icons had was also their regular lineup and they should've had military dramas and movies. But I think the TV networks are afraid to have Independence Day marathons because they are too expensive and they want to save as much money as they can. Another thing I noticed about America themed programming is that they have no shows of just fireworks like the traditional Christmas fireplace and yule log shows that air every Christmas and a hour show of nothing but fireworks set to a patriotic medley would be a great fit for TV better than having a show like A Capitol Fourth with all singers

It looks like they did at one point and then dropped it. If you have a digital converter box with an antenna it may pick up getTV in your area for free, just like Antenna TV, MeTV, etc.

Anyone else who has GetTV notice that the pic quality is horrible? Or is it just my tv? I watch Sanford and Son, AITF, Good Times, MWC, and some of their specials. Not a bad channel, but their pic quality sucks!

Probably because it's a over the air channel.

Yeah, but its even worse than the other over the air channels like Laff and Cozi.
