hardest part with buying your favorite shows on dvd is trying find time to watch them and having somebody to watch them with anyone agree.

I agree about finding the time, but not about watching with people. I prefer to watch alone as I like to be in my own "zone" with no distractions. That is mostly for more plot driven shows where I don't have to stop to explain what's going on or talking about other topics which usually happens with my friends.
Shows like "The Simpsons" or "Family Guy" I can watch with others because you don't really need to be following it. |

I usually prefer to watch my favorite shows on DVD alone also.
As for having the time I have a very light work schedule plus I also work from home. I have plenty of afternoon and evening time to watch DVDs. |

If it's a group of people, it's hard to concentrate as there's usually at least one person that's going to talk, even if it's about what is on the TV it gets distracting.
But watching with my wife and/or daughter we're in the same mindset so we never talk through the show. But yes, finding the time, especially when you have a show like Dark Shadows which has over 1,000 eps. |

My boyfriend doesn't like most of the same shows I watch also. Plus he and I are on a total different schedule. I work mornings and he works evenings. |

Actually it works out pretty well for the both of us. He likes mainly newer shows and I like mainly classic shows. We don't have a lot in common when it comes to Television with a few exceptions.
