Oh No I'm sad because I'm a loser at mini-golf.

In Loser Place with 70 is...me.

I haven't played in years and I was dead last...I feel like a complete loser....

That is kind of like me with bowling. I always imagine throwing strikes but it doesn't happen very often. If you play more mini golf you should get better at it.

Oh No

I hate being in last place...or being last in anything...because I'm last as always!

There's no shame in being last, even in performance-driven America.

Mini-golf is still a fun game, no matter if you're last. Try to just enjoy it and you will probably get better the more you play. I love to play mini golf and sometimes I come in last too but I still get a kick out of it.

I'm pretty good at miniature golf but I haven't been to a miniature golf course in a long time.

On the subject of being in last place, in the early 1980's I joined a men's bowling league. The league had 10 teams and each team had 4 bowlers. When the full season was over, the team I was on ended up finishing in last place. I wasn't mad about it but was embarrassed because I had never finished last in anything before. The reason for finishing last was because there were two goof offs on the team, they were beer drinkers and didn't care if we won the games or not, while myself and the other guy on the team were bowling to compete and try to win the games. So during the off season/summer months, word got to me that the two goof offs weren't coming back to the team when the new season started in September. So me and the other competitive guy on the team brought in two new bowlers who liked to compete, and now we had a team with all four bowlers on the same page, no messing around and no goofing off. When the next season started, it took our new team a little while to gel, we were in the middle of the standings for the first half of the season but at least we weren't last anymore. In the second half of the season is when we really started to gel, and when the full season was over, we had won first place. It was awesome, we had gone from worst to first from one season to the next. In the following season, we nearly repeated as champions but we fell a little bit short and ended up in third place.

I love mini golf mainly because of the elaborate courses and designs. I played almost all of the courses in Myrtle Beach, SC when I was like 13 or 14.

You need an anti-depressant if you’re not taking one already. Fluoxetine is pretty good stuff.

I personally would never take anti-depressants, though I suppose if you're suicidal and the doctor prescribed them it's the least worst option. I once bought some St. John's Wort tablets in the health store and was walking around the city in what I can only describe as an imposed-euphoric state. It made me realize that we experience sadness for a reason, and that it's far better to confront these reasons than to attempt to ameliorate with a pill.

As for golf, why not get some fresh air and try the real thing, or move to a different activity altogether?

It's just a game played for fun. I haven't played in years but I've never gotten depressed over losing against friends. I don't think winning or losing is the point in the game anyway.

I also had many scenarios where I was left-out because of my misbehavior.

One time...everyone was singing and having a snack, but I had to clean-up a mess I made and I couldn't be involved with the singing.

I also wanna find a book or something that had a scavenger hunt and you made a cookie afterwards...I couldn't have mine...so I have to make a marshmallow cookie for myself!

This was 26 years ago...and I felt like a bad boy because I was exclusive...even back then when I didn't get to be in the reindeer games, I felt like I was the loser!

I don't blame you but it doesn't matter. The important thing is to get exercise and have fun.

I used to take spin classes with a leaderboard and once I came in third but often I'd come in last or among the last ones. I told myself the above. Get exercise and have fun. It doesn't matter if I'm the best or not.
