What exactly did Anne Sweeney do wrong to Disney Channel?

The general criticism that I've heard about Anne Sweeney is that Disney Channel went from a channel that appealed to the whole family and was actually related to Walt Disney himself, to a version of MTV for pre-teen girls. Also, animation under her watch was placed into the backburner, in favor of live-action sitcoms produced by It's a Laugh Productions. And virtually all of those sitcoms were there to cross-promote the actors' singing careers. Sweeney herself all but admitted (or at the very least, insinuated) that her primary goal wasn't about making the most quality and entertaining shows as possible but to make money.
