Julie Piekarski is "proud" of her son

I'm not using quotes sarcastically, just as a way of linking this to Pride month for LGTBQ folks.

I didn't know Julie Pie had a gay son. I saw that after she wished him a happy birthday on social media. And she clearly thinks the world of him. It's nice to see that even though she's a very religious person, where she could have been preached to in the past that non-traditional love is "wrong", she doesn't let anything deter her from loving her son. Props to you, Julie Pie. She learned her lessons from Mrs. Garrett well!

No, indeed. I didn't know her son was gay, but I'm 100% not surprised that Julie Pie loves him to pieces, and that it's no issue for her. Julie is and always has been the first person to cheer someone on, and the very last person to throw stones. She is absolutely the definition of a real Christian, following Christ's Golden Rule.

And Julie worked in Hollywood for many years, and specifically for Disney, the most gay-friendly media company, so it's no surprise there, either. I suspect many of her closest friends -- cast members, make-up artists, directors, etc. -- in film and television are gay or lesbian.

I just seen the post you're talking about and she never mentioned the word gay, lgbtq, or pride. She could just be one of those religious folks who are proud of their kids accomplishments but still doesn't approve of the "gay lifestyle" which is problematic to me and this is what Geri said about Lisa Whelchel in the past......

Lisa Whelchel grew up around gays and had gay friends but that meant nothing because she didn't approve of the gay identity up until a few years ago. I don't think Kim Fields approve of the gay identity either because I was looking at an old 2012 video of her giving a poem against "alternative lifestyles" and how the world is more PC now. That could mean a lot of things but unfortunately when people use that term it's against the lgbtq community.

The only ones who I think really approves of the gay identity from the cast is Mindy Cohn, Nancy Mckeon, and Geri. If any other body said nice things about the LGBTQ community then let me know.

She could care, but her and Kim Fields are trying to maintain a career in Hollywood and they know they will be cancelled with a QUICKNESS if they express anti-lgbtq sentiments.
