I don't think it was underrated at all. The stars demanded a huge at-that-time pay raise.

This show kind of flew under the radar during its network run on CBS from 1998-2004. I like so many people discovered this show during syndication. I have since purchased all 6 seasons on DVD. This is now one of my favorite Sitcoms of all time.
