And it can be either an NBC(1986-1992 episode)or an ABC episode(1992-1995).My choice:NBC's 1989 episode "The Victim".Usually,the murders occur off screen,(sometimes not,giving it kind of an Alfred Hitchcock-esque touch as in the NBC 1989 episode "The Blackmailer",and 1990's NBC episode "The Critic"),but the first part of "The Victim" was REALLY violent.What are uour choices for most violent episode of "Matlock"?

i like the one where conrad goes to jacksonville and the black girl shows up at the pizza delivery girl ..... and they bring the guy back to be in the witnes s protection program on to have them both shot dead .
