Take a widow trying hard to raise her kids while trying to juggle two different jobs at once with her own sassy spin on life and you got Thea a sitcom that aired on ABC for one year. The show featured actress Thea Vidale as the title character who worked at a supermarket as a checker and also worked a double shift at another job to help take care of her sons and her two daughters all while learning to live together as a family but as you can tell from Thea's sassyness Thea is not one to rest on her laurels. Thea was also known as the debut sitcom of singer Brandy "Known as Brandy Norwood in the credits" who looks fabulous in her role before she wore her trademark cornrow braids that later became a popular hairstyle for young girls in the 90's being dubbed Brandy Braids. Thea also featured another star that also became a singer who was Jason Weaver who is best known for being the singing voice of young Simba in The Lion King and released the wonderful album Love Ambition and the late actress Yvette Wilson who appeared on Moesha and also appeared on "I got surprised when I discovered this" Supermarket Sweep as a contestant in 1992. With it's fun theme song and neat storyline Thea should've had more seasons on ABC and i'm surprised that no retro sitcom channel has reruns of Thea because it was a fun family sitcom
