CBS Renews "Man with a Plan" for 4th Season - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

"Man with a Plan" Renewed for Season 4 at CBS

CBS has renewed multi-camera comedy series "Man with a Plan" for a fourth season.

While never a breakout, "Man with a Plan" has been a decent and pretty consistent ratings performer. The series has been averaging a 1.1 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and 6.3 million total viewers (most current).

Additionally, the comedy comes from CBS sibling CBS TV Studios, and adding a fourth season would be beneficial to the studio as it would make the sitcom easier to sell in syndication.

I'm glad, because it well worth watching and being renewed. Almost every other sitcom on TV is junk, but this is good.

Great, now Man with a Plan is going to be dragged-out to syndication, since we're going to be stuck with it for the next two seasons. And now with Life in Pieces getting dumped by CBS, Man with a Plan is officially "The Un-Owned Show Killer".

Here is a new ultimatum: If Man with a Plan doesn't find an outlet for its reruns soon, it'll end up like Scorpion.

And some of you may not be pleased to find out that Man with a Plan isn't on CBS's Fall 2019 schedule, which will make it difficult for a show to get to 100 episodes. My best bet is MwaP takes back Mondays at 8:30 after Bob Hearts Abishola tanks. Not trying to defend Man with a Plan, but I hope its order isn't restricted to 13 this time around.

Screw Man with a Plan over or get it a good-sized syndication package? Make up your minds, CBS!
