The police officer has white/gray hair and a pair of glasses.

Police Officer: Were you the one causing all that racket?

Mr. Roper: When was this?

Police Officer: Yesterday.

Mr. Roper: Wasn’t me. Talk to my musician wife about it.

The police officer walks up to Mrs. Roper.

Police Officer: I’m assuming you were causing all that racket.

Mrs. Roper: Well, I’m used to playing loud music because I have experience in jazz.

Police Officer: Doesn’t matter. Somebody filed a noise complaint about this.

Mrs. Roper: Sorry about that.

Police Officer: Just don’t do it again. If you do, something will be done about it.

Mrs. Roper: I’ll try not to.

Police Officer: Great. Let me know if something’s wrong or if you just need anything.

Mr. Roper: Will do.

Police Officer: Sorry to bother the both of you, I’ll let you two go back to sleep now.
Keep going!

Baby It's Cold Inside (And Outside)

Jack: Brr! It's freezing in this house!

Chrissy: Oh. Looks like the power is out Jack.

Jack: No wonder why it's freezing Chrissy!

Lana: It's even colder outside. Wish The Ropers were here to fix this outage.

Chrissy: Let me check to see if there are any blown fuses.

*Chrissy goes downstairs to check for fuses

*Jack calls from upstairs*

Jack: Any luck?

Chrissy: No fuses

Lana: Great. All I can do is sit here and knit. Where are The Ropers anyway?

Janet: Hi everyone! Oh no. Looks like we have no power.

Lana: Do you know where The Ropers are?

Janet: Working.

Lana: I'm going to go knit.

Chrissy: Looks like there is nothing we can do.

Janet: If The Ropers are working, then how come they have power and we don't?

Lana: They probably have generators at work.

Chrissy: Lucky.

Lana: Tell me about it. *Goes back to knitting*

Band Practice (Part 1)

What would happen if a 90’s sitcom character crossed over with somebody from the cast of Three’s Company? Enter Brad from Home Improvement!

*It’s almost summertime and while Chrissy and Janet are at work, Jack is lonely*

Jack: Gee. I really wish Chrissy and Janet were here.

*Someone knocks on the door*

Jack: I wonder who that is.

*Jack opens the door to not only find Brad, but John Larroquette as well*

Jack: May I help you two out with something?

Brad: Me and John play in a band together and we were wondering if it’s okay to practice here.

Jack: Of course it is. Go right ahead.

John: Want to come and join us?

Jack: Well, I don’t play any musical instruments.

John: That is fine with me. Maybe you’ll want to take up an instrument yourself.

Jack: I prefer writing stories, poetry, and spoken word instead.

Brad: Maybe you can recite what you’ve written while we do the music. How does that sound to you?

Jack: I’ll just watch you play. After all, it’s band practice.

The doorbell rings again and two more band members arrive whose names are Helen and Niles.

Helen: Sorry that me and Niles are late. He kept messing up his organ solo in our other band and had to keep on having to do it over again until our frontwoman told him to get it right.

Brad: Oh no worries! Now that the both of you are here, we can finally get started on band practice.

Band Practice (Part 2)

Chrissy and Janet come home from work and discover that band practice is about to start.

Chrissy: We have visitors! How wonderful is that?

Janet: Did you miss us Jack?

Jack: I sure did. I was very lonely without the both of you around.

Chrissy: But what’s this band doing at our house?

Jack: Oh. I let them practice here.

Janet: Music is very lovely you know. I would really like to watch.

Brad: Let’s go down to the basement. Come on.

The band lug all of their instruments downstairs and set everything up.

Niles: *turns head towards John* At least your clarinet isn’t heavy to carry. I’ve been playing organ ever since I was a kid and should be used to this already.

John: You should get yourself a portable keyboard. It will be easier.

Niles: Maybe I will. I’m just sick and tired of having to deal with lugging this heavy thing around.

The band finally make it to the basement after dealing with a heavy load.

Band Practice (Part 3)

Brad, the leader of the band makes a big announcement

Brad: Okay everyone. Today’s practice will be combining classical and jazz music. Later on, we will be combining both of the genres into one.

Lana arrives downstairs wondering what's going on and she sees Brad’s sax.

Lana: But the saxophone isn’t even in classical music.

John: There can be pieces in the orchestra made for the saxophone you know.

Lana: Whatever you say smarty pants.

Brad: We are all going to compose a song together for the upcoming summer festival.

Helen: But my expertise is in classical music, not jazz.

Brad: No worries! We’ll be doing some new pieces first today and then we’ll do the classical/jazz combo later.

Brad: Let’s get started, shall we?

John: We should do the Night Court theme first. That sounded a little off the last time we practiced.

Brad: What do you think everyone?

Everyone nods their head and agrees.

Thinking About Thanksgiving!

Jack: What kind of turkey do you think we should get Janet?

Janet: Oh I don't know Jack, but it's way too early to start thinking about this.

Jack: But why?

Janet: Thanksgiving isn't until the end of the month and we almost have all month to think.

Merry Christmas!

Jack is seen watching the Christmas parade on TV, when the doorbell rings.

Jack: I'll get it!

Lana: Merry Christmas Jack! I have something just for you.

Jack: I wonder what it is...

Lana then hands him a present, which happens to be an animal.

Jack: A puppy!

Lana: I knew you would like that Jack, because it will be a perfect companion for you and Chrissy.

Jack: Don't forget Janet!

Lana: Oh, how could I forget about her? Sorry about that.

Janet: How adorable that doggy is! What should we name it?

Lana: Let's have Jack name it. After all, it's a Jack Russell Terrier.

Default Prequel

Let's go back in time for this next one! This will not take place in the present day, but will instead be in the past and will feature younger versions of the characters instead.

The stories will be a new one called The New Kid, and an alternate version of The Band Practice, but with some special guest characters added.

Default Where the kisses are hers and hers and his: The Prequel

The New Kid: Part 1

Another day of 4th grade has ended for Jack, and he is really looking forward to seeing his two best friends Chrissy and Janet who are in the 5th and 6th grade. Jack gets out of the school and waits for Chrissy to get out so they can start walking home together along with Janet.

Chrissy: Hi Jack! How did school go for you today?

Jack: It was great Chrissy! Where's Janet?

Chrissy: She's at the middle school next door waiting for Helen.

Jack: You want to go to the school?

Chrissy: Sure. Let's start walking over to the middle school then and wait for her.

Jack and Chrissy get to the middle school a few minutes later. Not long after, Janet and Helen walk out.

Helen: Hey Jack. I got some news for you.

Janet: Tell him Helen! I can't wait for him to hear it.

Helen: Stan and John told me that there's going to be a new boy in your 4th grade class starting next week.

Jack: What's his name? Do you know?

Helen: His name is Andrew.

Jack: I can't wait to meet him. Hope he's nice as well.

Janet: I'm sure he will be Jack.

Jack: I'm just so excited that I finally might have another best friend!

Helen: I knew you would be happy to find out the news.

Moments later, Jack walks up the steps into his own house.

Jack: See you in school tomorrow Chrissy!

The New Kid: Part 2

It's early Tuesday morning before school, so Jack gets to Mrs. Weissman's classroom early without going outside for recess and joining Chrissy.

Jack: Good morning Mrs. W.

Mrs. Weissman: Oh hi Jack. I'm surprised you're early. You're usually outside having so much fun with your friend Chrissy.

Jack: I'm kind of nervous about the new kid though, so that's why I came here and wanted to talk to you about it.

Mrs. Weissman: Don't be nervous. He's really nice you know.

Jack: How do you know that?

Mrs. Weissman: I saw him and his mother yesterday. His mother just got a new job at school here as the acting teacher while the old one is on leave and he is in the school band.

Jack: Was he shy like I am?

Mrs. Weissman: A little bit, but he wasn't so bad. He did say that he was very lonely though, and didn't really want to make any new friends here. Maybe you can be friends with him or something Jack.

Jack: I don't know Mrs. Weissman. I'm pretty happy with Chrissy.

Mrs. Weissman: Please give it a try Jack. It won't hurt at all.

Jack: Okay then. If you say so.

Chrissy is then seen calling out to Jack.

Chrissy: Why aren't you coming out here Jack?

Chrissy: Oh. You're shy about the new kid, aren't you? Don't be, you'll be fine.

Jack: Yes. I just want to stay here with the teacher, that's all.

Chrissy: Okay. Good luck!

Jack: Thank you Chrissy.

Just then, after Chrissy leaves, Andrew's mom comes walking into the classroom.

Drew's mom: Hi June. I just wanted to drop Andrew off early so I could get everything ready for my first period drama class.

Mrs. Weissman: Oh that is fine with me. I have my other student here who would really like to meet him.

Drew's mom: Andrew could really use a new friend. He was saying to me earlier that he has no more friends.

Mrs. Weissman: I'm sure he could start all over again and make his very first friend who is next to me right in this classroom.

Drew's mom: Drew? Come on in, no need to be shy.

Mrs. Weissman: There's someone right here who would really like to meet you you know.

Andrew: Do I have to come in? I would rather just prefer to wait out here until the bell rings.

Drew's mom: Yes you do. There's someone named Jack who really wants to talk.

Andrew: Fine.

Andrew walks in with his head down.

Mrs. Weissman: Hello Drew. You finally made it into the classroom.

Drew's mom: Try to have a good day. I know it's a brand new experience for you, but it's not going to be all that bad.

Andrew: If you say so mom.

Drew's mom exits the classroom

Mrs. Weissman: Jack, this is Andrew.

Jack: Hi!

Andrew continues keeping his head down

Andrew: Hi.

Mrs. Weissman: He's just really shy because he's new here. You'll get along fine once he is better used to it.

Jack: Want to sit next to me? There's already an empty desk.

Andrew: Sure, I guess.

Mrs. Weissman: Great! Let me get you settled.

Later...

Mrs. Weissman: All set Andrew. You can sit down now.

Andrew sits down next to Jack.

Mrs. Weissman goes back to her desk and starts to get everything ready for the day. The bell then rings.

Some constructive criticism.

Lana didn't move into the apartments until well after the Ropers left, they never met each other. Mrs. Roper doesn't work, and Mr. Roper literally works at the apartment building, so the storyline makes zero sense?? Also, it's a sitcom. You might want to actually write some jokes. It's not funny.

I don't mean to be to harsh, just sayin'.

Sorry. You’re not being harsh at all, but thank you for that advice.
