Gilligan's island was not in the South Pacific! Hawaii is more than 1,000 miles north of the equator, and G.I. was no more than 200 to 250 miles from Hawaii.

In "Mine Hero," Mr. Howell returned to the compound wearing a different cardigan than at the lagoon. However, given the Howells, this could make sense:

The men discover a mine at the lagoon. Howell runs back to his hut:

"Lovey, darling, we've discovered an active mine at the lagoon!"

"Oh dear, what does one wear for an active mine? Thurston, you must change sweater colors immediately!"

Many times in the middle of the lagoon you can tell they are standing up when they are supposed to be treading water

"The Pigeon": The Professor comes up with the idea to take a group picture by the Minnow's wreckage.

1: The boat fell apart in the first season's "Good Bye Island" episode.
2: I'd say that the scraps were sawed into pieces for firewood, etc.
