Back in late May-early June, I had a urinary tract infection that I had to take Antibiotics
for. At first, with intense pain in my left flank spreading into my groin and painful urination, my parents and I both thought it might be Kidney Stones. But after I went to the family doctor and they did a urine test, they discovered it was a urinary tract infection and it cleared up quickly with antibiotics. But the thought that it might have been Kidney Stones got me thinking recently:has anyone on here actually had Kidney Stones? |

I've never had stones but sometimes it crosses my mind and I drink water fast.

Never had this problem and I pray to God that I never do.

That's good that you are ok and that it turned out not to be kidney stones. I've never had Kdney Stones. I hope never too. I have had gal stones in 2010, which were extremely painful.

Glad it wasn't kidney stones. My dad had them years ago and he was in quite a bit of pain with them. The doctor gave him some kind of medicine to help him pass them.

Well, you can count me among the Kidney Stone sufferers now. I passed a 5 millimeter
stone last Tuesday. Turns out I have several of them in my right Kidney. Fortunately, none of them are larger than my first one. I also have Gallstones. I inherited the former from my Dad Grady and the latter from my Mom Bonnie. |

I've been fortunate not to have them, but I've seen family members and friends suffer with them and know they are horribly painful. Best wishes to you with hopes you don't have any more!
