Apparently Curtis Croft is on You tube a lot and he is a real idiot! He rants and raves and a few of his videos have been taken down. I think on his Facebook page he posts some pretty out there stuff. Complete disregard for Jenny it seems. Does anyone know of Jenny these days? I have had a look on face book but cant find anything?? No i'm not a stalker i'm just interested to see how she is

I just happened to watch this segment again for the first time in a long time. If you really listen to Jenny in the little scene where the physical therapist is teaching her how to walk, you can kind of tell how severe the brain damage is. After the therapist tells her to keep her affected foot flat on the floor while walking, Jenny randomly mumbles something about spaghetti.
I never really noticed that before. But it really kind of demonstrates how much her cognition was impaired. Very sad. |

It makes me angry that people never talked. I don't care if the perpetrators were teenagers at the time and didn't mean to do it, a young girl lost her chance to live a full and independent life because of their actions. Someone should be held accountable here. |

Jenny would today be about 45 or 46. I thought I read somewhere on this thread that her condition never improved significantly enough to allow her to work and live on her own and as such, she had to be put in some type assisted living facility. Am I remembering this correctly? |

I may be in the minority, but I firmly believe that Curtis Croft honestly did not see the people in the truck to get a clear enough description or license plate. I really think he genuinely cared for Jenny, and despite his rough past, I think it was just a bunch of teeangers looking to do something stupid, but not seriously hurt someone. I don't think this was some sort of retaliation against Croft. The segment says he borrowed a friend's motorcycle for the evening, and was on his way to taking Jenny home. How could these kids in the truck have known he was going to have the bike that night? And if they were following him, how did Croft not notice this? Especially if one or more of them allegedly were out for revenge. I think the recreation done by the PI was kind of a joke considering they made it seem like both Jenny and Curtis would have been decapitated by the 2x4 had the truck being going 50 mph. I think it's possible that the truck was going that fast (possibly faster), and someone held out the board and let go at the point of contact with Jenny. I also think the PI in the segment pressured Curtis into naming names of potential suspects. For all we know, the people Curtis named were just people he knew of who had animosity towards him, and they had nothing to do with the actual attack. Just my random 2 cents after rewatching the segment just now.

After looking up this Croft character online especially when confronted about Jenny, I don't think he's innocent in all this, he knows more than he is saying |

I was actually coming on to ask if there was a possibility that the incident could have been a tragic accident where NO ONE was the target and no one wanted to come forward because they genuinely intended for no one to get hurt. However, after re-reading the thread and all the folks who are reportedly FROM the area who insist it was a deliberate attack, it seems like that option is out. I wonder how Jenny is doing today. I doubt she passed away because one of your guys would have found it on the SS Indexes by now. I think Curtis Croft just made that comment back in 2014 to be a d-bag. It seems like his MO is to get drunk and do stupid stuff on the internet, be it Battlecam or another site. We all expect it, so he's just playing to his audience. Sad case all around. |

I'd just like to know if any of those guys feel a single bit of remorse. At that moment, she's extremely close to death and they're cheering because of what THEY did. If you have no guilt over doing that, you have no soul. |

Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but looks like the PI featured in the Jenny Pratt segment (Louis Crisafi) has had an "eventful" life since then:

A heartwarming footnote to this case:
We all know the story of how the actress who portrayed Jenny in the segment (Tiffany Harris) got to know Jenny during the filming of the segment and made it her mission to help Jenny and her family pay for some of Jenny's rehabilitation. I was curious to see whatever happened to Tiffany - it looks like she is no longer acting, but is now the co-founder and CEO of a company called Shane's Inspiration and they create inclusive playgrounds for children with disabilities. It's awesome to see that her amazing gesture to Jenny and her family turned into a career of helping others. http://articles.latimes.com/1989-02-...jennifer-pratt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JpG2KqWg9E https://shanesinspiration.org/founders/ Tiffany then: ![]() Tiffany today:

Odd you post that because I just watched this and wondered what ever happened to Jenny and the actress that played her. I'd read about how she went out of her way to set up the charity walk to help the family pay for Jenny's rehab.
Looking up Curtis Croft, that guy turned out to be a class A doucebag. He's all over youtube and even joking about Jenny. Too bad someone doesn't find a 2x4 with his name on it. |
