I was watch ing the episode "RADARS REPORT" again where Hawkeye fall for Lt. Erica Johnson (played by Joan Van Ark) and wants to marry her.
Do you think if he did the marriage would have worked out? |

Probably not. Military marriages are hard, especially during war time. The Army doesn't necessarily make sure they are both stationed in the same place. Not to mention Hawk was still a womanizer then, and Erica was probably hit on by half the soldiers in the whole damn Army.

I doubt it as well. He was frisky and liked to play the field-hard to envision him wanting to settle down.

He certainly went from a skirt chaser in the first 3 seasons to an apologist from season 4 until the ending episode, getting progressively worse with each season. The Hawkeye of the first 3 seasons is a totally different character than the next 8. Personally I grew tired of his apologitic character.
