Default Who was the best looking guy these girls dated?

Let's face it when comparing women and men guest actors on "three's company", the women were drop-dead gorgeous while most of the men looked like they scraped the bottom of the barrel and then decided to cover them in trash.

I actually laughed out loud at your description

I always thought the later seasons had better looking dates for the girls, like the soap opera star Brett Wade (played by Dennis Cole) or Bob the Bartender (Brad Maule). I don't think the showrunners wanted the girls to have anyone too hot, though, because they were supposed to be virginal.

IMO the best looking male guest actor wasn't one of their dates, it was Felipe's cousin Roberto (Rorion Gracie) who was going to stay with them in "Cousin, Cuisine." However he shows up at literally the last minute of the episode.

As a straight man yeah I guess maybe these two guys were good looking, their other dates tended to look like dorks.

Other handsome guys would be the British guy Leslie from season 8 and the guy that falls for Janet when she wore a blonde wig.

I think the same thing about the show Friends. None of the guys the girls date are that good looking ! The three regulars/ guys on Friends ( Ross, Joey & Chandler) were much better looking than guest starring or recurring guys the girls dated!

Actually I think it worked both ways , the regular girls ( Rachel, Phoebe & Monica ) were prettier than the girls the guys dated too!

Sorry, I didn't mean to post about another show on a Three's Company thread, but I thought it kinda related to this thread even though it's a different show!

I agree that your post was appropriate because it did relate to the same topic that was being discussed. By the way, one female who made a guest appearance on "Friends" was Brooke Shields. I thought that she was pretty hot!

That's because sitcom television is obsessed with the myth that average-looking schlubs can attract insanely attractive and clever women.

You really thought the regulars were good looking?? Schwimmer was awful. Matthew Perry was the best looking. The other guy(Joey??) was ok I guess.

Of the women Courtney Cox was around average, Jennifer Aniston was awful, Lisa Kudrow was the best looking of the girls but she has bizarre shaped face.

I know Jennifer Aniston was supposedly considered good looking by the media but I just don't see it. Every guy she dated or married left her!

I'd say any of the TC roommates were better than the Friends girls with the possible exception of Lisa Kudrow. John Ritter was better looking than ALL the Friends' guys.

I agree with this point—the Friends male cast members were totally unappealing to me. I never watched the show so maybe if I knew the characters they would be more attractive, but without knowing their personalities they were basic.

Also I don't know what supermodels you are boinking but your assessment of the Friends women is pretty laughable.

On TV women are usually more conventionally beautiful compared to men in general. Obviously most TV stars are attractive, but men are allowed to be unconventionally hot more frequently than women. I will say that in the 70s there were more normal-looking people on TV and in movies than maybe in all of tv/film history. Like, Larry and Janet on TC were both really attractive but in an unairbrushed way.

Yes!! All the men on Friends were very good looking!! Ross/ David Schwimmer is esp. Hot !! I have a big crush on him!! Joey is really hot too, he's adorable ! And Chandler is very handsome except for the last season ,he was very puffy faced/ bloated looking. Matthew Perry was having issues with alcohol and prescription drug abuse at the time!

And Rachel/Jennifer Aniston is beautiful!! So is Phoebe/ Lisa Kudrow ! Both are very natural beauties ! Monica/ Courtney Cox is pretty too, but a little too skinny!!

But yeah IMO all the cast of Friends are better looking than the Three's Company cast!,

Really??? You didn't find any of the three attractive at all?? Although John Ritter is a very cool guy and funny , I never found him to be hot or attractive at all ! But to each there own and again I'm sorry If I did , I didn't have the intention of insulting anyone or being disrespectful on this Three's Company thread!!

Nah, I thought the Friends guys were pretty average looking. Not complete uggos but they weren't distinctive in any way. John Ritter was more conventionally handsome than them IMO. Blue eyes and big smile, that classic California "nice boy" look. However I've never found Ritter sexy, necessarily, just good-looking. Maybe because of his role as Jack Tripper he always gave off more of a brother-type vibe.
