Monday's special episode of The Tonight Show will resemble an episode of Garry Shandling's The Larry Sanders Show, featuring appearances by Tina Fey, Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, animal expert Robert Irwin and musical guest Florida Georgia Line. Cameras will follow the backstage drama of Fallon's late-night show, including Fey being very mad at him. This won't be the first time Fallon has paid tribute to Larry Sanders. In 2013, he had Jeffrey Tambor recreate Fallon's Late Night opening, Sanders-style. Next week will also mark Fallon's 10th anniversary as a late-night host. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon launched on March 2, 2009. ALSO: Fallon's YouTube channel surpasses 20 million subscribers, the most of any late-night host.

Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show homage to The Larry Sanders Show was pretty dead-on

Fallon's Monday special episode lifted some things directly from the classic Garry Shandling HBO comedy, including Larry Sanders' favorite phrase: "No flipping!"
