Default I watched The Orville for the first time

Was Alara a regular character up until this episode? I saw in the guest credits two Star Trek actors, Robert Picardo from Voyager and John Billingsley from Enterprise. I always knew Robert Picardo was the ship's doctor on Voyager, but there were a few Enterprise actors where I didn't know what their roles were. It looks like John Billingsley played the villain in this episode; and unless I'm mistaken, he played the doctor on Enterprise. I never knew who played the doctor when I watched the episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise.
Take care and God loves you.

no they haven't. I wish they would though, that'd be cool. On last nights episode though, some of the characters visited New York in 1945 on the ships version of "STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION"s holodeck (I forget what it's called)
