When Did Game Shows Stop Making Six New Episodes a Week? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The Password Plus 6 day week with Judy Norton-Taylor from The Waltons just finished airing on Buzzr. For a long time daily game shows have just been new Monday-Friday. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! air 6 episodes a week but the Saturday episodes are repeats from the previous season.

The Password shows really seem to be inconsistent with the number of days in their weeks. The Judy Norton-Taylor week mentioned above had 6 days. But tonight's Password Plus I tuned in expecting to see the final day of the Patty Duke and Bill Cullen week (started on Thursday 2-7), was disappointed to find a new week had started with lesser celebrities. Elizabeth Montgomery week on 2PM Password last week was only 4 days as well. I know sometimes holidays shorten a week, but from the episodes I saw nothing seemed to have been mentioned.
