I actually found out about it from a poker forum. It will be on ESPN and usually they will do in depth interviews with the players that go far in the tournament.

I don't remember that case. Was it only aired on NBC?

I hope this story gets more publicity. I don't believe that Ferrell was responsible for any of this. There's a lot to this case that has never been looked into.

Here is a link about the case that mentions some of the more damning evidence against him: http://wv.findacase.com/research/wfr...9999.WV.htm/qx Here's a better thread on the case and a review I wrote of the FA episode: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...hlight=ferrell |

The evidence against Ferrell was circumstantial and her body was never found. I'll give you that. The Bronco being found on his property is weird, but maybe he panicked and burned it there to destroy of evidence and planned on really disposing of it at a later date, but the search party and investigators got there first. John Wayne Gacy buried/concealed numerous victims on his own property. So did Jeffrey Dahmer, and he was in a rental. Not too smart, eh? I guess what I keep coming back to is his behavior after her disappearance. He admits he wrote the letter to Cathy Ford's parents saying she was alive and he sent them money to pay for the Bronco. Then he wanted his girlfriend to call Cathy's family and pretend to be her and tell them she was okay. He also tried to call off the search for her body, and when that failed, he used his clout as a police officer to convince the searchers to look everywhere except the area where the Bronco was found. Then there were all the phone calls made to various women around town trying to get them to meet the caller at a secluded spot. There is evidence linking Ferrell to some of the calls, and he admitted on the Final Appeal program that he made some of them. To me, it's far easier to believe that a pervert with some strange sexual hangups lured Ford away from safety to a secluded spot. If he intended to kill her outright I do not know, but his intentions were not honorable and he probably wanted to rape her at a minimum. He then kills her and burns/disposes of the body and panics when the investigation begins zeroing in on him. |

Correction from my last reply. It was Ferrell who went up in the helicopter, actually spotted the Bronco and did not say anything. I believe he knew then that he was being set up for her disappearance. As I said in my other posts on the Articles about Ferrell, there is alot more here than the media ever released. More suspects, who were never questioned about Cathy, but only questioned about Ferrell, more witnesses, who were never given the chance to testify for the defense. Even one of the Prosecution witnesses got on the stand and could say nothing bad about him. Actually testified in his defense. Others say that they actually saw Cathy days after her disappearance. Oh and the blood recovered from the trailer, you'll get several different stories on that one. The "expert" witness in the trial should have never been up there as an expert. There was nothing to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the blood was that of Cathy's. That witness got on the stand and threw out numbers that could have been proven to be anyones blood. Guess you had to be there and know the people involved.

I have not read or seen enough of this case to decide if you are correct.
If Darvin Moon did do it, and if this link below is describing the same Darvin Moon, he died before your theory could be proven. https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports...at-56-2125604/ |
