Thanks for the correction...big error on my part from back in 2007. Since then I have gotten the entire Doris Day series on DVD from MPI (as well as her specials) and agree that they did a great job on the series - the bonus material was outstanding. They also did an incredible job with the "Here's Lucy" series as well! It would be wonderful if MPI, Shout! Factory, or any studio were to finally get the rights to release Pruitt's Of Southampton on DVD!

You have inspired me to change one of my choices for top 10 "one hit wonders" I would like on DVD, to The Pruitts of Southampton! I'm curious to see this show.

If One-Season-Wonders like, I'm Dickens, He's Fenster and My Living Doll, both released this past year, can find their way to DVD releases, why not TPOS?

I'll tell you why not. Because those 2 are independently owned and Pruitts is owned by a major studio (MGM).

Oh No! And MGM is affliated with FOX, which won't release any of their classic shows.
