Did anyone else think Lisa sung "No, New York is where I want to stay", instead of just "New York is where I want to stay as "The Hooterville Handbook" suggests?

When I used to watch it in the 60s; I used to think she said "No, york is where I want to stay".

Yep. I'm thinking back to the 60's as well. To me it sounded like "nonewyork" all rolled into one long word, but listening to it now, it's definitely just New York. I blame Lisa's accent.

Looks good to me, except it's "keep" Manhattan.

Vic Mizzy was a brilliant composer. The Green Acres theme is quite sophisticated. It was progressive, too, in that Mizzy used a fuzz guitar and bass harmonica in it. (Tommy Tedesco on the fuzz guitar, btw... per Mizzy)

Yeah I agree it was an awesome piece. Very distinctive and unusual for a sitcom which I think very well captured the zaniness of the series.

I've read that the show's soundtrack was the first to use electronic music by way of a Maestro Fuzz Tone.
