Antenna's Skipping Episodes - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I schedule DVD viewing, using the episode Antenna shows. I noticed today Antenna skipped "Lunch With The Governor."

When I watched it on DVD, I noticed it may have music issues. Hazel sings a campaign song, with well-known music.

Maybe the rights to use it expired after 50 years.

This is probably the same reason they skipped many Bachelor Father episodes.

That's surprising, in the past this episode was always shown in syndication. I remember Family Channel used to skip some episodes and even WOR which showed them all EXCEPT for Dorothy's Birthday but they DID show the Pilot episode of Hazel with that same name but with a different cast and house. I've given myself a long break from Hazel to settle my nerves but when I watched I used my DVDs so I wouldn't know about what episodes are now being skipped. I wonder if FETV is skipping this episode too? They show Hazel twice a day, in fact their line-up is sort of a combination of Antenna TV true classic shows (from '50's and '60's) and shows COZI-TV used to show. I highly recommend FETV (Family Entertainment TV).

It’s unusual for Antenna to do this; when I’ve really followed a sitcom on Antenna, this never happened. Of course, there’s always a first time...
