Default Jodi is dead because of Christy

Christy signed up to be Jodi's sponsor, but then she ignored Jodi's phone call when Jodi was in dire straits... all because Christy was preoccupied with nonsense. Sure, Jodi was a drug addict, and sure, nobody forced Jodi to take drugs, but the bottom line is that Jodi was looking for a way out at the time that she called Christy, and if Christy could have bothered to take Jodi's call, Jodi would surely be alive. And to be even more insulting to Jodi and Marjorie, Christy made everyone pretend that everything was alright at Marjorie's wedding.

Christy is a bad person IMO. Where is Roscoe? Where is Violet?

I don't blame Christy.
But the show gave my first disappointment in the episode 1 year later the death of Jodi: noone remembered her

The fact is that if Christy who was Jodi's sponsor bothered to take Jodi's phone call, Jodi would still be alive.

It's not like she knew she would die. She blamed herself for it too, nobody knows if things are life and death until they happen

Doesn't matter that she didn't know. Christy was Jodi's sponsor and she should have been there for her.

Not true at all. It takes ZERO effort to take a phone call, but Christy was too wrapped up in her own personal nonsense.

Rewatching season 3, Marjorie was the one who told Christy that she didn't have to answer every phone call from her sponsees if she's in the middle of something. Christy just followed what Marjory said.

No she didn't, because she actually did answer the call but dismissed Jodi to tend to her own personal affairs.

Wrong. Marjory told her that her own life can’t be interrupted for every problem. Had she known what Jodi was doing she absolutely would’ve stayed on the phone.

And if only she stayed on long enough to find out, Jodi would not be dead.

Also, it does not matter how you want to spin this, because Christy said herself in the episode right after Jodi's death that if she only would have taken Jodi's call, she would not be dead. So it doesn't matter what you say because Christy already said it herself in that episode where the gang goes up to Canada to steal maple syrup. She says it in the car when they pull over to do that serenity prayer.

Yeah and? She felt guilt and blamed herself.

She was guilty for the reasons that I've already stated.
She was right to feel guilty since she was.
