Default 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Has anyone heard anything about the 2018 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? What I have heard about it so far is that there's gonna be a balloon of The Grinch and also a balloon of Dragon Ball Z's Goku and who's gonna replace Matt Lauer as host of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year?

Hoda Kotb will set to co-host with Savannah Guthrie at this year’s Macy Thanksgiving Parade according to Wikipedia. It will be the first Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade without Matt Lauer since 1997.

Oh, so it's gonna be the first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in history that's gonna feature both a female host and co-host. That's pretty exciting news in the parade's history because when I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades with Meredith Veira I liked her because she had great commentary and I hope Hoda Kotb does awesome with Savannah Guthrie on this year's parade

I’m ready for the parade!!!

I wonder if Ronald McDonald’s balloon will appear since McDonald’s is trying to get rid of him. He’s always been one of my favorite balloons.

I know Martina McBride is scheduled to perform in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and also Anika Noni Rose will be featured on the Sesame Street float too

I saw the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade a minute ago and I can honestly say that Macy's really hit it out of the ballpark and made a home run with this year's parade. For the debut of Hoda Kotb as the new host of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day she brought a whole new image and style to the parade and when partnered with Savannah Guthrie they brought a lot of fun commentary to the parade. But there was some things about this parade that should've been left alone. Like do we need commercial breaks full of various NBC stars of sitcoms and other shows offering Thanksgiving wishes and talk about favorite Thanksgiving traditions of childhood? But they did do an impressive tribute to Jean McFaddin who passed away later this year and of course Santa Claus himself is impressive as ever this year. With new surprises and floats and balloons this parade was the best in history

Hi, Bestie! My favorite is the Rockettes! Also there was an Anime balloon. I believe that was a first too.

So happy to see that McDonald’s hasn’t completely abolished Ronald McDonald...yet. He’s my favorite balloon.

One thing about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that I have never ever figure out is why is it when Santa Claus makes his entrance at the end Santa Claus is practically silent and the only thing he does which I find very annoying is wave his arms back and forth like he's hailing a taxi and if I were Macy's I would make Santa talk and say "Merry Christmas" or Happy Holidays" or even Seasons Greetings would be nicer to end the parade smoothly. Does the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade have a rule that Santa Claus is forbidden to talk when his parade float appears?

The same reason that the celebrities lip-sync during their performances, the parade floats are unable to carry all of the sound equipment and the performers can't sing in the cold.
